Race 4 No. 1 RED PHANTOM- ($1.56)

A field of five feature in Race 4 and RED PHANTOM will take some beating. The Nick Ryan-trained galloper can be locked into multi’s and has won his past two on the surface by a combined margin of seven lengths. The most recent of those was two starts ago in a BenchMark 64. He has since performed well in a Saturday race at Morphettville at BM70 level, finishing runner-up behind Jaguary. The four-year-old has options from barrier 3 and will be ridden by Rhys McLeod, who strikes at 20% for the stable, providing a 16% profit on turnover for punters.

Race 6 No 3 GAWNSKI- ($2.40)

Another small field and ROSALIA shapes as the one here. The six-year-old was brave in defeat when resuming over the 1100m here on July 18, posted three wide without cover before going down in the shadows behind Cosmic Rhapsody. The Patrick Payne-trained galloper went 1.9 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which is six lengths better than the next best last start figures of any other runner. She should have scope for improvement at her second run back and draws perfectly in barrier 4.
