UNIVERSAL HARMONY can go one spot better than a debut effort that saw him finish runner-up at Horsham on debut. The Team Hayes-trained galloper was well supported that day but couldn’t quite catch Capmala, who enjoyed a charmed run up front. The son of Brave Smash enjoyed a big gap on the 3rd placegetter and went 5.6 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is the best last start benchmark figure of any runner. Improvement to come at his second start and with Dan Stackhouse in the saddle, he should be hard to beat.

Race 7 No. 2 ALWAYS HAPI- ($8.10)
This looks to be a suitable assignment for ALWAYS HAPI. The five-year-old has been racing well at his current campaign and was a Sandown winner two starts ago before heading to Caulfield on September 23, finishing 4th behind Shock ‘Em Ova. He was towards the tail that day and closed off well. The Geelong based galloper back to a country level and just needs to hold his form. He has an excellent record over the 1400m and draws to save ground from barrier 1.
