Race 2 No. 12 KING’S CHARISMA – ($2.15)

KING’S CHARISMA can bounce back in Race 5. The six-year-old was a strong winner at Warrnambool three starts ago in a Maiden Hurdle then missed out in a strong race at that venue when 3rd behind Bedford. At his most recent start, he was tried at Casterton but was wide throughout and pulled up with a poor recovery when 5th behind Count Zero. A firmer in the early betting, he will be hard to topple if he brings his form that we saw prior to his last run. 

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN) 

Race 4 No 9 RAISE YOU TEN – ($3.30)

RAISE YOU TEN should be hard to beat in the JJ Houlahan Hurdle (3250m). The Maher/Eustace galloper was a strong winner over the hurdles at his last campaign and thrives over longer trips. He has had a couple of warm up runs for this at both Sandown and Flemington and gets out to the two miles and beyond for the first time at his current preparation. The 10-year-old was a big winner in a recent trial, while we must respect the early market support from this stable.
