BEST BET 🏆
Race 9 No. 6 ALL SHOW – ($2.30)
Visually impressive last-start winner ALL SHOW has drawn to repeat the first-up success from Belmont a fortnight ago. Her early pace caught us by surprise as we were on Just Go as an each-way special to cross and lead. All Show found herself under a stranglehold soon after jumping as Shaun O’Donnell couldn’t hold her any slower. Her pace contributed to the posting to Just Go wide which is testament to the early speed she displayed. Loved the way All Show opened up into the straight, putting a gap on talented rival Swear To God. That colt in turn had put his own space back to third, also adding credibility to the strength of All Show’s win.
NEXT BEST 🥈
Race 5 No. 6 TIFFANY STREET- ($4.20)
Daniel Morton will have TIFFANY STREET fit and ready at her third run back this prep. The light filly will appreciate getting down towards the minimum as she tackles her home track. Punters sent her around as the favourite in both races at Belmont where she was okay, market expectation aside. Ran into the speedy Just Go who got a comfortable run on the speed to win. Since settled further back than usual when stepping out over six-furlongs for the first time. She continued to make ground as the rain came down and may prefer the sure surface on Saturday. Plenty of pace, plus he favourite drawn to her inside may suggest Brad Parnham finds a cosy run hunting the pressure.
BEST VALUE 💰
Race 10 No. 2 COME RIGHT BACK – ($34)
We give comeback stayer COME RIGHT BACK a better chance than odds suggest in the last. Rail out three metres for the first Ascot meeting since May has us believing the on-speed runners drawn towards the rail hold the advantage. Come Right Back resumes in the last on a ten-race card which is that part of the day when they typically start closing off from out wider. There’s a couple here who will want to run along which should string the field out. This may enable Lucy Warwick to get in one off around midfield while giving her mount space to roll with the big weight. Come Right Back races well fresh, and over this track. He possesses undeniable ability on his day while Adam Durrant has had him trialing up well enough leading into this.
