HYDROGEN POWER can break through in Race 4. The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper has had two runs this time in, finishing 4th on both occasions. He was a fraction unlucky when resuming at Bendigo over the 1300m before heading to Kilmore and running on behind Run Harry Run. He was back on a slow tempo that day and produced the fastest 600m-200m but the margin was too big to bridge. Step up to the 1600m looks ideal and the blinkers go on.

Race 7 No. 9 UNIQUELY- ($4.80)
UNIQUELY should find this easier than a last start effort that saw her finish 9th in a BenchMark 70 at Geelong over the 1700m. She settled handy on a solid temp that day before dropping out of it. The grade suits much better. The six-year-old was a Moonee Valley 2040m winner at a similar stage of her last preparation, while it is worth noting that she has had three runs at the track and trip for two wins. Ryan Houston rides and claims the 3kg.
