Race 3 No. 1 COLLISON- ($2.60)

Keen on COLLISON in Race 3. The Colin Scott-trained galloper resumed off a long break at Cranbourne on May 12 and loomed up at the 200m but couldn’t quite reel in Flying On A Limb, finishing runner-up behind that horse. He should have improvement to come at his second run off a break and one of his better runs to date came on a Heavy track at Moe when second up earlier in his career. A noted firmer in the early betting, he has the pace to overcome the barrier and might take  a bit of catching. 

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN) 

Race 6 No 6  REDNECK RUM- ($5.40)

REDNECK RUM can chalk up the second win of his career when he steps out in Race 6. The Nick Ryan-trained galloper scored well at Terang when resuming before heading to Warrnambool during the carnival and running 4th behind Pythagoras. The three-year-old was back from the barrier in a slowly run race before peeling out and producing the fastest last 200m. He might settle closer this time around from the better barrier. Blinkers go on and he loves a wet track.
