BEST BET 🏆
Race 2 No. 7 DIFFERENTIATOR – ($2.55)
William Pike retains the ride aboard DIFFERENTIATOR for Summer Dickson at Belmont Racecourse on Saturday. The horse is third-up and attempting to win beyond 1500 metres for the first time. Differentiator would seem to have most of these covered on exposed form should she run the mile out strongly. Hit the line hard from well back behind Civvy Street when resuming over 1300 metres here on a Good 4 track. Punters sent her out as the popular elect in a strong race over 1500 metres last time out. Pike found little difficulty in settling Differentiator towards the back of the field before producing her into the straight. Differentiator powered through the Heavy 8 conditions to record a soft win on the line.

Race 4 No. 5 PLANET CASH – ($6.50)
We identified PLANET CASH last prep as a horse with ability and he showed as much again when racing first-up over 1200 metres at Belmont. Lucy Fiore had allowed Planet Cash to find his feet back in the field in one of the few races where the leader had won. Planet Cash peeled off the fence prior to straightening before commencing his run up the middle. He finished best of the rest from a long way back to grab second in a photo. Nice to see Planet Cash proving his ability on a heavy track and which had us writing his name in the #WABlackbookers file. Fiore can find a quiet run in a race which should hold more pressure in front before unleashing Planet Cash into the straight.
BEST VALUE 💰
Race 9 No. 2 VANE TEMPEST – ($6.75)
Clint Johnston-Porter can settle a lot closer over 1200 metres with VANE TEMPEST in a race where there doesn’t look to be huge pressure. There will be a few crossing from out wide and the Hyphenator can tuck in for some cover early. Vane Tempest resumed over 1000 metres here when getting back in a slowly run race. She was good enough to the line late behind Real Encounter to suggest that she’d come back well. Settled well back again as the pace and pressure was poured on in front when racing over 1200 metres second-up. Vane Tempest continued strongly to run second without really threatening Rokanori. Looks to gain a treat of a run to help punters out in the last on Saturday.
