Race 6 No. 4 FOX APPEAL- ($4.80) 

Big class drop for FOX APPEAL. The Wangaratta based galloper battled at Caulfield in a Saturday race on March 17 when beaten four lengths into 13th place. He was solid in his two runs prior to that with placings at both Benalla and his home track. This grade looks much more suitable and the son of Foxwedge draws to save ground from barrier 1.

Race 3 No.15 NIGHT ACTION – ($15.20) 

NIGHT ACTION is an each-way contender in Race 3 at Benalla. The Lloyd Kennewell and Lucy Yeomans-trained galloper has had the three career starts and was a tad unlucky over the 1600m at Benalla two starts ago when 3rd behind Do You Think So. At his most recent start, the son of Savabeel settled worse than midfield on a very slow tempo at Bendigo and closed off well for 5th. He comes in with the best last start benchmark figures of any runner and the blinkers go on.
