Race 4 No. 6 PLENTY OF AMMO- ($1.40) 

PLENTY OF AMMO should be hard to beat in Race 4. The five-year-old has won three of her four career starts and her last two have come at a combined margin of over nine lengths. She led and cruised home as a short priced favourite at Sandown most recently with that coming in a BenchMark 64 and could have won by more than the four length margin, jogging home over the last 100m. 

BEST BET 🏆  

Race 1 No. 1  BOLD SOUL- ($3.50) 

BOLD SOUL can go close in the opener. The Patrick Payne-trained galloper has had the two career starts for a win on debut at Donald over the 1350m before tackling the 1400m at Caulfield and running 3rd behind So Glamorous. He settled just worse than midfield in the small field that day before producing the fastest late splits. The son of Embellish looks like he will appreciate the step up to the 1800m.  

NEXT BEST 🥈   

Race 7 No. 12 SGHIRRIPA- ($10) 

SGHIRRIPA can go a couple of spots better than a last start effort that saw him finish 3rd behind Hypothetical at the track and trip on November 18. He settled midfield on a day that suited the leaders and chased steadily in the closing stages. The Adelaide galloper won two at Morphettville prior to that to start his preparation and draws much better for this assignment. 

BEST VALUE 💰   

Race 2 No. 1 GLASSEY MISS- ($46) 

Big drop in class for GLASSEY MISS and the Symon Wilde-trained galloper is worth thought in Race 2. She wasn’t quite up to it in the Inglis Bracelet at Flemington over the 1600m last time but was solid in this grade when resuming at Horsham prior to that. The seven-year-old comes into this with the fitness at her third run and gets the large claim for Tatum Bull.
