KEITEL can go on with the job in Race 5. The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper is unbeaten in three career starts and resumed off a long break with a dominant win at Pakenham on January 25 over the 1200m. He looks to have improvement to come and should handle the step up to BM70.

Race 7 No. 3 MYSTERY ISLAND ($4) 

Going with MYSTERY ISLAND in the Colac Gold Cup. The seven-year-old has been in solid form this preparation with a win first up at Warrnambool and some competitive efforts at Geelong and Moonee Valley. He stepped up to the 2040m at the Valley on January 27 and was slowly away before working into it and running 3rd behind Independent Road. He should be at his peak now and with some speed in the race to come from Maseratie Bay, he can run over them late in the piece.
