Race 6 No. 4 POWERFUL EAGLE- ($2.30)

POWERFUL EAGLE will be hard to beat in Race 6. The Peter Moody-trained galloper enjoys a bit of a class edge here and narrowly missed when resuming on March 15 at Sandown before leading and running 4th behind Gringotts at his most recent start. That came at Sandown and the form out of that race looks to be rock solid. He sticks to the 1600m and might look to work across with Thomas Stockdale on board. 

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN) 

Race 3 No 2 KING NEPTUNE- ($3.50)

KING NEPTUNE can break through in Race 3 at Cranbourne. The Philip Stokes-trained galloper has finished runner-up in three of six career starts and last stepped out at Geelong, filling the exacta in narrow fashion behind Hurricane Thunder, while there was a solid gap back to 3rd. He should be right at his peak now after three runs and has attracted plenty of support in the early betting, while Jye McNeil rides.
