BEST BET 🏆

Race 2:  No.3  RAIDING  ($3.35 with BoomBet)

Local galloper RAIDING is in top-shelf form at the moment and has most boxes ticked here to suggest she is the one to beat I this contest. Last start, the Rebel Raider mare came off a close-up second in a BM58 Hcp over the mile when she went one better and beat home similar company, here over the same trip. With Braith Nock aboard, she drew wide (gate 11 of 12) and after settling mid-field, finished too strong for them and crossed the line a length clear in the end. Up in grade here, Nock sticks with her and after his claim, the mare carries 2.5kgs less today and already a two-time winner on her home track, she looks the testing material here.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 5:  No.7  ALL TOO SNEAKY  ($3.80 with Ladbrokes)

Wyong trainer, Damien Lane, makes the five-hour trek along the Golden Hwy today and saddles-up ALL TOO SNEAKY here who is in great touch after two starts back this preparation and looks well placed here to remain unbeaten on the Dubbo track today. Last start, the All Too Hard filly came off a win with her first look at the Dubbo track when she did well to finish a close-up third in a Class 2 Hcp over 1250m at Kempsey. Anna Roper was aboard for both contests and has the reins again today. She drops back to Class 1 company today and from gate five, maps to settle just behind the speed. She looks a promising type after just three career-starts and with a trouble-free run here, he can get the job done today.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 4:  No.4  RYLAN’S PICK  ($7 with Palmerbet)

Locally-trained by Brett Robb, RYLAN’S PICK is second-up today and looks well placed for back-to-back victories. Last start, the Knight Exemplar gelding resumed off a nine-week break and was back to his best when he took out the Dubbo Cup Sprint Prelude, here over 1118m. With Clayton Gallagher aboard, he sat outside the leader and on straightening, got the better of him, going on to win by a length on the line, with plenty still left in reserve. He draws well in gate five today and has Gallagher sticking with him for this assignment. Already a two-time winner at the track and distance and at odds today, he will take beating again.
