Having just her second race-start today, TATTLE debuts for her new trainer Mark Currie here and looks a good chance of rolling the race favourite (Ripper Shank) under the conditions. Last start, the Spill The Beans filly debuted at Swan Hill for (then) trainer Mark Pegus when she tried to lead all the way but was grabbed late and had to settle for third prize that day. It was a promising start to her career and today Currie has fitted the winkers for the first time as Justin Huxtable takes the reins for this assignment. With a trouble-free run, she could easily take this contest out today.

Race 6:  No.1  BAD INFLUENCE  ($3.30 with Bet Right)

Gold Coast galloper BAD INFLUENCE sees this track for the first time and third-up today can give this contest a real shake. Last start, the Contributer mare wasn’t disgraced when finishing fifth in a BM62 Hcp over the mile at Beaudesert. Settling back in the field, she made up good ground in the run home, beaten just half a length on the line. She will strip fitter after those two runs back and in the smaller field today, looks well placed to take a sit early and finish strongly again.

Race 5:  No.10  SUNIKI  ($7 with Palmerbet)

Toowoomba galloper SUNIKI is a track specialist here and third-up today she looks a genuine winning chance at odds. Last start, the Stratum Star mare was second-up and still in need of the run when she finished mid-field in a BM0-62 over 1000m on her home track. Third-up today, she returns to her comfort zone on this track where her four starts to date have resulted in two wins and a runner-up finish. From gate six, she maps to settle just behind the speed and fitter for those two runs back, and dropping back to a winning distance as well, she looks set to figure in the finish today.
