Race 9 No. 1 FATIGUES- ($11)

FATIGUES can end the day a winner. The five-year-old has been around the mark in his three runs this time in, and was a three-length 7th at Sandown in a BenchMark 70 two starts ago before heading to Geelong and running 3rd over the 1720m behind Nijiko. He comes into this fourth up and the last start effort should top him off nicely.

Race 8 No 8 CROWN CRUSHER- ($13)

CROWN CRUSHER can go close in Race 8 of the afternoon. The three-year-old was a Pakenham Synthetic Maiden winner two starts ago before heading to a Saturday meeting at Sandown and running 4th behind Brung King. He settled back on what was a solid tempo before producing the second fastest last 400m behind the winner, who has since gone on to score again at Flemington. The Lee & Shannon Hope-trained galloper comes back to a provincial circuit and should enjoy a bit of pace in this race with Blake Shinn to ride.
