Tamworth galloper, WHO GOES THERE, in unbeaten in two starts and fresh off a seven-month absence today, can give this contest a real shake. Last start, the Exosphere gelding went back-to-back when he clobbered a BM58 field over 1000m on his home track. He led all the way that day, crossing the line 1.5 lengths ahead of the ten-strong field. He has trialled twice since then, winning his last effort at Scone by almost two lengths. Grant Buckley steered the four-year-old to both victories and remains on board for today’s assignment. Ideally drawn in gate two, He maps to be near the speed up front and on fresh legs today, he will take beating.

Race 5:  No.4  COSY CORNER  ($5 with Ladbrokes)

Paul Perry saddles-up COSY CORNER here who is in top-shelf form this time in and ticks all the boxes to suggest she will take beating in this contest. Last start, the Cable Bay filly made it four-straight top-two finishes when she beat all but one home in a Class 1 Hcp, here over 1200m on a Heavy 8 that day. Trying to lead all the way, she was beaten less than half a length, finishing 4.5 lengths ahead of the rest. Back on top of the ground today, Jason Collett returns for today’s assignment (after steering the filly to her maiden win, here two starts back). She gets the gun-run from gate one and maps to settle on the speed. At the top of her game now, she can get the job done today.

The Bjorn Baker-trained FOUR O’CLOCK KNOCK continues his consistent approach to racing and looks a genuine chance of ringing up win number two today. Last start, the Sacred Falls gelding found the podium for the seventh time in his ten starts to date when he took home third prize in a BM64, here over 1900m on a Heavy 8 that day with Robbie Downey aboard. He should be reaching his peak after three starts back now as Downey sticks with him for this assignment. The step-up in distance looks ideal now and fitter for recent racing, he can give this real shake today.
