BEST BET 🏆 (WIN)  

Race 1 No. 5 KING’S CHARISMA- ($2.50)

Going with KING’S CHARISMA in the opener at Hamilton. The Maher/Eustace galloper has had one start over the hurdles for a runner-up performance at the Warrnambool carnival. He chased well but couldn’t quite reel in Pure Deal in what was a solid jumps debut. The six-year-old has been supported in the early betting and will take a bit of beating. 

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN) 

Race 8 No 2  SABAR- ($3.30)

Looking for some improvement from SABAR in Race 8. Another from the Lindsey Smith stable, the four-year-old returned from a spell at Geelong on May 12 and was shuffled back before the turn before running on fairly for 5th, beaten just over three lengths. At his last preparation, the four-year-old was a nine length improver on benchmark figures when going from a win at Hamilton to a win at Warrnambool. Look for him to settle a little closer from barrier 2 this time around and be strong at the business end. 

BEST VALUE 💰(WIN) 

Race 7 No 2 JUST JOHNNO- ($4.60)

Willing to have a crack at JUST JOHNNO at his first run back from a spell. The nine-year-old was solid when resuming at Pakenham at his last preparation, finishing runner-up behind Invincible Caviar before again placing at Sandown. Both of those runs were at BenchMark 70 and he produced some excellent figures relative to this grade. The lightly raced six-year-old has finished top three in all of his first up runs, winning one. A firmer in the early betting, the son of Therock draws barrier 2 and should be hard to beat.
