Unbeaten first-up and unbeaten at the track and distance, his resume spells trouble for his rivals in this contest.

The David Hayes-trained SNAFFLES is third-up today and ticks enough boxes to suggest he can take this contest out. Last start, the Churchill gelding was second-up and showed improvement over the mile when he beat all but one home in a Class 3 Hp on this track. Karis Teetan remains in the saddle today as he seeks his first win on the four-year-old. Ideally drawn in gate two, he maps to settle better than mid-field and already a winner when third-up, he will take beating in this event.

He gets the gun-run here from gate one and has Purton sticking with him as well. Already a winner when second-up, he is also a two-time winner at the track and distance and fitter for that first-up run, he will take beating here.
