Race 8:  No.6  PRINCE OF PORTY  ($3 with Palmerbet)

David Hall saddles-up PRINCE OF PORTY here who is yet to miss the podium in his three career starts to date and looks well placed here to keep that record intact today. Last start, the Wandjina gelding was first-up off a 10-week break and beat all but one home in a Class 3, here over 1200m. Zac Purton has been aboard from the outset and sticks with him today. He has drawn wide here but his early gate speed has him settling better than mid-field with cover. He won second-up last time in and fitter here, he looks set for another big effort today.

Race 7:  No.5  FLYING HIGH  ($3.80 with Bet Right)

The Chris So-trained FLYING HIGH is living up to his name lately and looks a genuine chance of making it four-straight today. Last start, the five-year-old brought up the hat-trick when he grabbed victory in a Class 3 Hcp, here down the straight track over 1000m. He ran the trip out, 10.5 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best last start effort here and set a new personal best as well. He also recorded the fastest final 800m, 600m and 400m sectionals for the race. Matt Chadwick was aboard that day, celebrating his fourth win on the gelding and sticks with him again today. His resume suggests he is the one to beat here.

Race 10:  No.5  BEAUTY MISSILE  ($7 with Ladbrokes)

The Frankie Lor-trained BEAUTY MISSILE has been racing without luck this time in but rock-hard fit after four starts in, looks set to bring up his first win on Hong Kong soil today. Last start, the Smart Missile gelding came within a neck of victory when he beat all but one home in a Class 3 Hcp, here over 1400m. He showed ability early on in Australia, finishing runner-up in the Listed ANZAC Day Stakes (1400m) at Flemington (racing as Alcedo then) and is now showing some of that form in recent runs here. With a trouble-free run today, Purton can steer him home for his maiden win here.
