The Adam Campton-trained GET WHAT YOU GIVE is off to a promising start and unbeaten this time in, looks the one to beat again in this contest. Last start, the Spieth gelding went back-to-back when he easily accounted for them in a BM68 over 1200m on the poly track at the Gold Coast. He has now raced seven times for four wins and two runner-up finishes. He meets similar company here and after Emily Lang’s claim, he carries the same weight as last start. Winning form is good form and will take a smart one to end his run here.

The Chris Anderson-trained ARTIE PANTZ is three starts into this preparation and ticks enough boxes to suggest she is a genuine winning chance here. Last start, the Flying Artie mare took on Class 2 company on the Sunshine Coast where she overraced mid-race and was trapped wide most of the way as she finished unplaced, 3.5 lengths from the winner. She draws ideally in gate three today where she maps to settle right behind the speed as Ben Thompson takes the reins for the first time. Both career-wins have come on dry tracks so the forecast Good 4 today looks ideal. Already a winner at the track and distance, her claims here look very strong for another victory.

Gold Coast galloper SILVER WARRIOR has found his mojo this time in and has his chance here for back-to-back victories today. Last start, the German-sired gelding was fourth-up when he easily accounted for a BM62 Hcp on the poly track at the Gold Coast. Emily Lang was on board that day and sticks with the six-year-old here. He two previous visits to Ipswich saw him go home empty handed but that can change today as he gets the gun-run form gate one and will settle near mid-field with cover. With just a little luck finding clean air in the run home and he could be storming home to break the Ipswich hoodoo today.
