BEST BET 🏆

Race 4:  No.11  TWO AYE  ($4.85 with BoomBet)

The Barbara Joseph Racing Team make the trip north from the National Capital today with just the one stable runner as they saddle-up TWO AYE here who looks a promising prospect after four races and should give a bold sight in this contest. Last start, the Deep Field filly came off her maiden win at Goulburn (where she put more than three on them that day) and faced a Class 1 Hcp over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Sent out the race favourite, she settled too far back (drawing gate 11 of 13), but stormed home to grab third prize, beaten a length on the line. She meets similar company over the same trip today and draws a little better here. Tyler Schiller retains the ride and gets the chance to bounce back here.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 7:  No.5  OPITO BALLERINA  ($4.40 with Neds)

With Joe Pride’s galloper (The Replicant) being an early scratching here, this makes the job of winning that much easier for OPITO BALLERINA to get the job done today. Last start, the Darci Brahma filly came off a BM58 win at Bathurst when she just missed a podium finish at Gosford in a BM64 contest over 1200m. She finished off well that day with Hannah Williams aboard who sticks with her for this assignment. The 3kg claim sees her carry 2kgs less than last start as she meets similar company here. Ideally drawn in gate two today, she maps to be box-seating on settling and closer to the speed here, she looks a serious threat to victory.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 5:  No.7  MOUNT WARNING  ($5 with Ladbrokes)

The Joe Pride-trained MOUNT WARNING has been the bridesmaid at her past two runs and gets the chance here to go one better today. Last start, the Astern filly looked home on straightening but was grabbed by one better on the line in a Class 1 Hcp over 1100m at Wyong. Jay Ford has his first ride on the filly today as she meets similar company over the same trip in this assignment. She has come back in great touch with a win and two runner-up finishes in her four starts this campaign and with a trouble-free run here, looks a genuine winning chance today at odds.
