Race 4 No. 12 MARKRANA- ($2.50)

MARKRANA can get the job done in Race 4. The Mark & Levi Kavanagh-trained galloper has had the two runs this time in and jumped in distance to the 1629m at her most recent start at Werribee, sticking on well for 3rd behind Wanda’s Outlaw. The daughter of Pierro gets out further in trip and at her last preparation she was very solid third up when 7th in the Group 3 Ethereal Stakes (2000m) at Caulfield.

Race 1 No 5 LARIMER STREET- ($4.40)

EXTREME ALLY gets another chance in Race 1. The Matthew Ellerton filly has placed in four of six and led at Sandown on April 19 before being run down late by The Maggstar. She comes back to a country setting and narrowly missed at Kilmore on a Soft track prior to her last performance. Form out of her last two has been excellent with three winners coming out of the Kilmore race and one out of Sandown. Look for her to push across from the barrier and be hard to hold out late.
