BEST BET 🏆   

Race 7 No. 7 MORNING BRIGHT- ($3.05) 

MORNING BRIGHT can make it two wins from as many starts when she steps out in Race 7. The Mike Moroney-trained galloper led all the way at Ballarat on debut in Maiden grade and was strong to the line to go 1.2 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is the best last start figure of any runner in this race. She can improve off that at her second start and can handle the small step up to BenchMark 58 at this stage of her career.

Race 1 No. 6  FROSTY DAWN- ($4.40) 

A few unknowns with some first starters in action but am willing to have something on FROSTY DAWN in the opener. The Vincent Malady-trained galloper made her debut at the track and trip on November 20 and loom up in the straight before just peaking on her run in the last 100m of the race. She did a few things wrong at the business end of that but should improve from the experience. Worth noting that she went 1.5 lengths slower than standard, which is much better than what any of those that have raced have produced

Race 5 No. 6  KIDRUMMIE- ($5) 

KIDRUMMIE shapes as a solid player in Race 5. The Danny O’Brien-trained galloper has placed at his past three runs and has been strong to the line in those. The son of Tarzino was ridden a little further forward than normal at Bendigo on November 28 and stuck on well for 3rd behind Eishaa in a race that has already produced a couple of winners. He should be at peak fitness now after four runs and just needs to overcome the wide barrier with Fred Kersley to ride.
