Race 3 No. 1 MR MOJO RISIN’ ($2.90)

MR MOJO RISIN’ should be hard to beat in Race 3. The four-year-old carries weight here but does look to have a class edge on his rivals and was 4th at his most recent start with that coming at BenchMark 70 level on Geelong Cup day over the 1300m. The Andrew Forsman-trained galloper settled back and produced the fastest last 200m. He was solid in much harder company than this at a similar stage of his last preparation and should enjoy the step up in distance.

Race 2 No. 4 PEROVIC – ($5)

PEROVIC can go close in Race 2. The Danny O’Brien-trained galloper showed improvement when getting out to the 1600m at Seymour on October 22, leading before going down late in the piece when 3rd behind Djockovic. The son of Pierro went 4.9 lengths slower than standard benchmark in that race, which is better than the class average and more than three lengths better than what any runner in this race has produced. He comes into this third up and will strip fitter.
