BEST BET 🏆 (WIN)

Race 3 No. 2 GREYT MUMMA- ($2.70)

The fillies line up at BenchMark 64 level in Race 3 and GREYT MUMMA can chalk up the third win of her short career. The Anthony & Sam Freedman-trained galloper resumed with a win at Cranbourne on May 12 before tackling a BenchMark 78 at Sandown on May 27 and running 4th behind Tanto over the 1000m. She was posted wide in that race and couldn’t quite catch them, finishing four lengths off the winner. Drop back to BenchMark 64 suits and the 3kg claim gets her down to a winnable weight.

Race 6 No 5 THE HASS- ($8)

This looks to be a suitable assignment for THE HASS. The Julius Sandhu-trained galloper resumed at Flemington on June 6 over the 1100m and settled handy before just running out of steam late when 6th behind Senegalia, beaten two lengths. He drops back to the 1000m and at his second run last time, the four-year-old was a seven length improver on benchmark figures when going from a Cranbourne win to a Moonee Valley win.

Race 8 No 1 MR MOJO RISIN – ($8.10)

This might be the one for MR MOJO RISIN’ to chalk up his first win since coming over the Australia. The Kiwi was a winner in his homeland to kick off his current preparation before heading to Flemington over the 1400m and running 5th behind Euphoric. At his most recent start, the three-year-old settled midfield and loomed to win in the slower section of the track along the inside before being bloused late by Cardigan Queen. He draws wide for this assignment but there looks to be a heap of early speed and the son of Deep Field can position up nicely.
