BEST BET 🏆

Race 3:  No.4  TAVOLO  ($3.90 with Palmerbet)

Canberra galloper TAVALO has hit the ground running with an impressive start to her career and after three-straight podium finishes, she looks set to continue the good work in this contest. Last start, the Zariz mare improved on two minor placings when third-up she broke through for her maiden win over 1280m on the synthetic track at Canberra. With Damon Budler aboard, she found her way to the front inside the final 200m and went on to win by 1.5 lengths on the line. She steps up to Class 1 company today and returns to the turf track as well. She gets the gun-run from gate one and Budler sticks with her for this assignment. She is riding high at the moment and looks set for another big effort here.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 8:  No.6  SOOBOOGELISCIOUS  ($3.35 with BoomBet)

From the strong Nick Olive stable at Queanbeyan, SOOBOOELISCIOUS comes into this contest at her peak after four starts this preparation and looks a big chance of back-to-back victories here. Last start, the Sooboog filly was new to the Moruya track and made her track debut a winning one by taking out a BM58 Hcp over the 1425m trip. With Quayde Krogh on board, he rode her a treat, finishing best to cross the line a length clear of the 14-strong field. The step up to the mile here looks ideal now and with Krogh in charge again, she can give this event a real shake today.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7:  No.4  DREAM GAME  ($5.50 with Unibet)

The locally-trained DREAM GAME is third-up today and looks ready to record career-win number three in this contest. Last start, the Dream Ahead gelding was second-up and showed plenty of improvement when he finished third (of 14) in a BM58, here over 1425m. The stable have removed the winkers here and replaced them with visors again and he has Olivia Chambers sticking with him for this assignment. After the claim, he carries 57kgs today, 4kgs less than last start. Ideally drawn in gate four, he maps to be box-seating on settling and with a trouble-free run here, he can chalk up his second win on home track soil today.
