Race 2:  No.1  MANZONI  ($2.60 with Picklebet)

Locally-trained by Natalie Jarvis, MANZONI was in good touch of late, then found a wet track, but back on top of the ground today, he can bounce back to the winner’s circle. Last start, the Street Boss gelding came off a hat-trick on minor money finishes when he came across a Heavy 8 at Kembla Grange that saw him out on the day. He finish down the track, beaten nine lengths in the Class 3 Hcp over 1400m. Down in grade today, he welcomes back Shaun Guymer who has steered the galloper to a podium finish in all three previous rides. Ideally drawn in gate two, he maps to settle mid-field and with a clear run to the line, he should be storming home here and claiming a victory today.

Race 5:  No.2  INCENTIVE  ($1.90 with Ladbrokes)

Keith Dryden saddles-up INCENTIVE here who is second-up today and will take a ton of beating. Last start, the Capitalist gelding resumed off a 10-month absence and having his first start for the new stable, clobbered a BM74 field over 1000m at the Sapphire Coast. Leading from barrier to box, he was untroubled in the run and carried the 58.5kgs to a 1.5 length victory with James Innes Jnr in the saddle. Innes sticks with the five-year-old today who gets the gun-run from gate one and fitter for that first-up run, he looks set for back-to-back victories today.

Race 4:  No.3  ARANCIONE  ($6 with Bet Right)

Local galloper, ARANCIONE, is high flying this time in and third-up today looks a solid winning chance at odds here. Last start, the Eurozone mare came off a Class 1 victory at the Sapphire Coast when she found the podium again, finishing third in a BM58 Hcp over 1400m on the same track. Richard Bensley was aboard on both occasions and sticks with the five-year-old for this assignment. A winner when third-up last preparation, she just needs a little luck from the wide gate to be there at the finish today.
