Race 2 No. 12 THINK TANK ($3.40)

Rue Bungan and THINK TANK were the two horses who were badly hampered at the start when racing at Murray Bridge Racecourse last time out. Think Tank was on debut and he did enough in the race to warrant further support. Local trainer Matthew Seyers has kept him to the 1400 metre trip and will no doubt look for further at some stage. Think Tank still did plenty wrong when letting down between horses while getting home for third under Jacob Opperman. Opperman stays on for Wednesday and will be mindful of the horse wanting to run about as he did last start under pressure.

Race 4 No. 3 TRANSZAM ($6)

Port Augusta trainer Brenton Jones has taken over the care of former Victorian galloper TRANSZAM. The horse has had four starts for his new trainer this prep (including losing the rider at home first-up). Jones may have something with his new acquisition and has found a thin race as Transzam gets out to a trip for the first time. Ran a good race second-up at Gawler when not beaten far from Lomax and subsequent winner Flyway. Settled outside the leader and didn’t finish off at his next start as Flyway took control shortly after straightening. That race has produced another three wins since with the Flyway form holding up. Allowed to get back since and hit the line well enough without threatening the winner Allusion with his latest run. Drops a kilo while Todd Pannell sticks as Jones finds a race well back in class for Transzam.

Race 3 No. 13 STAR STUDDED BELLE ($7)

Former Kiwi apprentice Ms Kelsey Hannan rides STAR STUDDED BELLE who hasn’t been beaten far in some handy maiden races of late. Forced to do it the hard way when jumping from the outside gate over 1200 metres at Gawler. The mare covered plenty of ground without cover to finish off okay behind the well-fancied debutante Vengeance. We’ve seen a couple of winners come out of that race to add merit to that form. Star Studded Belle got back over 1250 metres on the Parks track at lates when again finishing okay behind Braveman’sgame in a race we do expect to hold up when those horses start to step out again. Gets out to the 1400m for the first time, and we’ll be hoping that Kelsey can find some cover early.
