Race 6 No. 4 ZERO INN – ($4.20)

Murray bridge horseman will be looking for more of the same from ZERO INN who was in raced in career best form last prep. The mare lived up to her potential towards the back half of that campaign which culminated in a win over this track and distance. Anna Jordsjo maintained a prominent position throughout on Zero Inn who proved too tough into the straight. They had jumped from barrier 16 to score here before again drawing poorly on the Parks track at their next start. Zero Inn again ran another honest placing under Jordsjo before going for a well-earned break following her next run. Zero Inn has since returned with a win over a few of the key chances in today’s race and is expected to find conditions favourable on Sunday.

Race 5 No. 1 BADONKIDONK – ($3.60)

Telopea Downs trainer Darryl Dodson gets his chance to pick up another win with frustrating mid distance horse BADONKIDONK. The horse has genuine city-winning abilities which belie his current record of only two wins from twenty-four race starts. Thought Kayla Crowther was caught napping when she found herself as an unexpected leader on Badonkidonk at Naracoorte two starts ago. Hasta La Prince ran on by to open a winning break with Kayla keeping the field stacked off a slow tempo. Badonkidonk rallied into the straight to no avail as the bird had already flown. Dodson very nearly pulled off a big win in town as Rochelle Milnes claimed to below the minimum at his next start. The pair were only beaten in a photo while Crowther comes back on to make sure of things on Sunday.

Race 4 No. 8 MAIDEN FLIGHT – ($6.60)

Victor Harbour trainer Jake Stephens saddles MAIDEN FLIGHT who represents some each-way value at Murray Bridge Racecourse on Sunday. His horse had been around the mark in her first two career runs before showing her true colours over 1800 metres. She travelled well under Lachlan Neindorf in a midfield position before running on for third in a maiden behind Call Me Al. This was enough to convince the market to send her out as a short priced favourite for her next start over 2121 metres at Gawler. Neindorf gave the mare a picture-perfect ride as Maiden Flight never looked in doubt at any stage of the race. This Class One race would seem the logical progression for Maiden Flight who goes in as our Value Selection of the day.
