BEST BET 🏆

Race 3:  No.2  KISSING SUPIDO  ($2.75 with BoomBet)

The Tracey Bartley-trained KISSING SUPIDO is yet to miss a podium finish this time in, KISSING SUPIDO makes his track debut today and looks well placed here for back-to-back victories. Last start, the Supido gelding finally broke through for his maiden victory when third-up this preparation. He settle in front from gate seven and held them comfortably to win by more than a length that day over 1200m at Port Macquarie. His early gate speed should see him overcome the wide draw and settle on speed here. Scratched from Mudgee yesterday to run in this contest, he is rock-hard fit from a hat-trick of top-three runs and looks the goods today.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 8:  No.2  SEAHAVEN  ($2.85 with BoomBet)

The Paul Messara-trained SEAHAVEN resumes today after six months off the scene but with three trials behind him now, he looks set to give this contest a real shake. Last start, the Mikki Isle gelding ended his last campaign in style by winning a BM66 Hcp, here over 1500m with Aaron Bullock aboard. Placed at his last trial, he should have enough fitness to test his rivals here as he gets all the favours from gate one today. Bullock has ridden him to all three career victories to date and has the job again for this assignment. Already a winner on fresh legs and two from two at the track and trip, he will take beating here.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7:  No.5  ROYAL CHARGE  ($12 with Palmerbet)

Scone-based galloper ROYAL CHARGE loves racing here and ticks almost every box to suggest he is a tad overs with the bagmen today. Last start, the Charge Forward gelding was second-up off a 21-week break when he finished mid-field in a BM66 Hcp over 1350m on the Beaumont track at Newcastle. Mitchell Bell has had success on him previously as he is legged aboard for his sixth ride on the five-year-old. Four starts at the track and distance have resulted in two wins and two minor placings so the gelding knows his way around here. Placed twice in three previous third-up attempts, he can give this a real shake at (currently) double-figure odds today.
