The Goulburn-based galloper ONEOFTHETWELVE is third-up today and looks well placed here for back-to-back victories. Last start, the Ad Valorem gelding made it third time lucky as he broke through for his first win in a 1300m Maiden Plate on his home track. With Nick Heywood in the saddle, he box-seated to the turn, then took control on straightening and went on to score an impressive win. Heywood sticks with him today as he gets the gun-run from gate one and from the favourable gate, should take beating here.

Race 5:  No.6  SHEER ELEGANCE  ($4.40 with Ladbrokes)

The Peter Morgan-trained SHEER ELEGANCE is back for her second tilt at a Narrandera win and third-up today, looks well placed here for back-to-back victories. Last start, the Flying Artie mare was second-up at Forbes when she finished strongly to grab victory on the line in a BM58 Hcp over 1400m. With Mathew Cahill aboard, she missed the start and settled last in the 12-strong field but made up the lost ground in time to score an impressive win on the day. Fitter for two runs back, Cahill sticks with her and the mile trip looks ideal now. With a clear run to the line again, she looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 7:  No.8  KING OF THE BOUNTY  ($7 with Palmerbet)

Victorian visitor, KING OF THE BOUNTY has enjoyed success here since resuming and looks well placed for another podium finish today. Last start, the Bel Esprit gelding came off an impressive win here in Class 3 company when he almost made it two-straight when beating all but one home in a BM66 Hcp over the 1000m sprint, also on this track. He looks on the up and up after four-straight top-two finishes and has winning rider Hannah Edgley retaining the ride for today’s assignment. Drawn well in gate five and a last-start winner here over this trip, he looks well and truly in the mix at odds today.
