Race 4:  No.4  EMMADELLA  ($2.30 with Neds)

John Thompson saddles-up the Randwick-based EMMADELLA here who is in top-shelf form this preparation and will take a ton of beating in this contest. Last start, the All Too Hard filly came off her maiden win at Kembla Grange when she finished a close-up second in a Class 1 Hcp over 1350m at Wyong. Keagan Latham was aboard for both of those rides and has the job again today. Even fitter here after three runs back, she draws well in gate four and maps to get the run of the race, one out and one back. With a clear run to the line, she should prove very hard to hold out today.

Race 5:  No.5  RAPBIDASH  ($2.05 with Ladbrokes)

Scone visitor , RAPBIDASH, is unbeaten in two starts and first-up today, looks the testing material in this contest. Last start, the Supido mare came off a crushing maiden win (4 lengths) when she was almost as impressive by taking out a Class 1 over 1262m at Taree. She was then sent to the paddock and since then, has returned to work, trialling twice, winning of those in the process. Performing well fresh shouldn’t be an issue as she won on debut and Mitchell Bell keeps ownership of the saddle here as well. She draws the outside gate today but that shouldn’t play a big part in proceedings in the small field. Bell will have race tactics in place and on fresh legs, she looks the pick of the crop here.

Race 1:  No.3  SUPERTRAIL  ($2.70 with Ladbrokes)

The Brett Cavanough-trained SUPERTRAIL is in great touch this time in and looks well placed here to make his first look at this track a winning one. Last start, the So You Think gelding found the podium for the third time in four starts this preparation when he beat all but one home in a Class 1 over 2100m at Gosford. He sat outside the leader early, then took over just before the turn with Rapid Impact (eventual winner) joining him as they turned. The two of them fought tooth and nail to the line as Rapid Impact grabbed the honours (by a head) on the post. At his peak today, he drops 2kgs and has Mitchell Bell remaining aboard, who boasts two wins and as many runner-up finishes from his four rides to date on the four-year-old. He can get the job done here.
