Unbeaten since joining the Gayna Williams stable, GUTSY lines-up here with all the important boxes ticked and is a genuine chance of bringing up the hat-trick today. After transferring over from the Richard Wilson camp, the Brazen Beau gelding won first-up at Dubbo, beating home a BM50 field over 1200m, then franked that win by going back-to-back, winning a BM58, here on a Heavy 9 over 1010m. Clay Gallagher was aboard on both occasions and sticks with him for this assignment. He gets all the favours from gate one today and now a track and distance winner, he should prove hard to keep out here.

Race 3:  No.7  FIELD OF MYRTLE  ($3.60 with bet365)

The Bjorn Baker-trained FIELD OF MYRTLE has found her mojo of late and looks well placed here to ring up win number two today. Last start, the Deep Field filly came off an impressive maiden win, here on a Heavy 8 when she did well to come from behind and arrive in time to grab third prize in a BM58 over 1100m at Mudgee. She faces similar company here and the step-up in distance looks ideal after five runs this campaign. Ideally drawn in gate four, She can give this contest a real shake today.

Race 7:  No.10  PRALINE  ($6.25 with Bet Right)

Dubbo-based galloper PRALINE has finished top-two in his past three starts and looks a genuine threat to this field today. Last start, the Holy Roman Emperor mare beat all but one home in a BM74, here on a Heavy 9 over 1310m. She appears to have peaked now and looks well placed in this company. Back on top of the ground today, she boasts four career wins on dry tracks and has Clay Gallagher back on board, after steering her to two previous victories. She maps to settle back in the field and will be running on when it matters. She is a prime contender at odds today.
