Race 4:  No.9  LOVING ANGEL  ($2.10 with Bet Right)

The Dubbo-based LOVING ANGEL is in great touch this time in and looks poised for back-to-back victories today. Last start, the Winning Rupert mare finally shook the Maiden monkey off her back and broke through in blistering fashion when she blew them away over 900m on a heavy track at Wellington. Finding the front soon after jumping, she led by two lengths into the straight and just kept on going, crossing the line five lengths in front of them. Third- up and even fitter for two runs back, Clayton Gallagher sticks with the four-year-old today and her Parkes debut could be a winning one.

Race 3:  No.7  LADY SHENANIGANS  ($3.40 with Picklebet)

Hawkesbury galloper LADY SHENANIGANS found his mojo recently and looks a serious player here today. Last start, the Zoustar gelding came off a BM66 win at Taree when he beat all but one home at Bathurst in similar company over 1100m. He sees the Parkes track for the first time today and has drawn ideally in gate three. Serg Lisnyy has steered him to four of his five career wins and has the job again today. Already a two-time winner at the trip, he looks in the mix.

Race 7:  No.6  DEEL STREET  ($8.50 with bet365)

Another Dubbo visitor is DEEL STREET who is also making her Parkes debut and back in her comfort zone (over the mile) looks a genuine winning chance today at odds. Last start, the Dundeel mare was third-up when she made the podium for the 14th time by finishing third in the Gooree Cup at Mudgee. Ken Dunbar was aboard that day and rode her a treat, but the 1400m turned out a little short for her on the day. She is a 1600m specialist, boasting four wins and a second placed effort in six starts over the distance and with Dunbar in the saddle again today, she looks well worth an investment in this contest.
