Pinjarra Tips 12/04/2023

BEST BET 🏆

Race 3 No. 8 DEVIL GIRL – ($2.60)

Luke Campbell was the last to load before his mount DEVIL GIRL was the first one out of the gates. Trainer Neville Parnham had given the mare one public trial, and she seemed to need that first-up run over 1400m. Devil Girl led with a wing on every foot before tiring notably under Campbell inside the furlong. Missed the kick at her next run which was over the mile at Pinjarra. Campbell hunted her towards the speed where the pair eventually found a run behind the leaders. Devil Girl took over soon after straightening, only to be run down late by Rubirock. They ran a smart time in both races which will see Devil Girl in with every chance on the Scarpside tomorrow.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 8 No. 10 ARCADIA STAR – ($4.40)

We didn’t see a great deal from ARCADIA STAR during her trial after the filly was slow into stride. William Pike elected to take inside runs with no gaps presenting and allowing Arcadia Star to go to the line untested. She may have been left a little under done going into the 1400m first-up off the soft trial. Pike allowed her to settle around midfield before presenting with his run early. He had been forced to track deep with Arcadia Star on turning before becoming buffeted between runners into the straight. Arcadia Star continued to work back into the bridle to keep coming late. Should find a smother behind the speed and can be hitting the line hard as she strips fitter for the run.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7 No. 7 CANNY CONI – ($7)

We’ll take a chance on CANNY CONI as Sue Olive steps her to the 1200 metres while first-up on Wednesday. Canny Coni has not been recorded in any public barrier trials leading into her resumption. There are also no form tools available for Western Australian jump outs, though we believe that Canny Cony would’ve jumped out somewhere. No vision leaves us playing blind; however, she did win two races last prep. Canny Coni also went out on a winning note which is a form reference we often love to follow. She was able to lead all the way on that day, and we’ll expect Kyra Yuill to be prominent early. Canny Coni has drawn ideally and should be able to stalk some good pressure into the straight.
