Race 6:  No.3  TIZ INVINCIBLE  ($4.40 with Bet Right)

The Maher & Eustace-trained TIZ INVINCIBLE resumed in fine style and a repeat of that effort could see her go back-to-back in this event. Last start, the I Am Invincible filly resumed off an 18-week absence and on fresh legs, proved too strong in the end, winning The Rosebud over 1100m at Rosehill. J.Mac steered her to win the Listed event and sticks with her for this assignment. She has her fourth race-start here and fitter for that first-up win, looks the testing material here.

Race 3:  No.4  WAVERIDER BUOY  ($6 with bet365) 

The Chris Waller-trained WAVERIDER BUOY has finished a bridesmaid in four of her five starts this time in and with a change of luck here can bring up her third career win in this contest. Last start, the Nicconi mare made it a hat-trick of runner-up finishes when she beat all but one home in a BM84 Hcp over 1100m in a one-off trip to Caulfield. The consistent mare has now recorded five top-two finishes from her five starts this campaign and back in Sydney this weekend, she is joined by James McDonald (J.Mac) who steered her into second place two starts back at Rosehill. Two starts here have ended in unplaced runs but that can all change here.

Race 5:  No.5  MILITARY MISSION  ($7 with Ladbrokes)

Waterhouse & Bott saddles-up MILITARY MISSION here who is third-up and looks ready to win. Last start, the Mastercraftsman gelding was second-up and showed plenty of improvement when he beat all but one home in the Group 3 Premiers Cup, here over 2000m. Rachel King has chalked-up a dozen rides on the five-year-old to date and has the job again for this contest. Already a winner when third-up and has had success over 2400m previously, he looks well placed here to bring up career-win number six.
