BEST BET 🏆

Race 4:  No.8  SILVANITO  ($4.20 with Bet Right)

Another from the Cummings stable is SILVANITO who has found his mojo after three starts back and here, looks the one beat today. Last start, the Shooting To Win gelding remained unbeaten when third-up as he easily accounted for a BM64 Hcp over 1200m at Newcastle. On a Soft 5 and carrying 59kgs, he ran the trip out in 1:10.8 which is a fair effort. Nash Rawiller is the pilot today as the four-year-old gets the gun-run from gate one. He maps to settle mid-field again and should be doing his best work at the business end of the contest. A trouble-free run today should see the Godolphin galloper hard to hold out here.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 3:  No.5  CORIOLIS  ($8 with Palmerbet)

The James Cummings trained CORIOLIS is in great touch this time in and looks a serious contender in this contest. Last start, the Lonhro mare came off three-straight podium finishes when she broke the run, finishing fourth in a BM72 over 1250m at Canterbury. Doing her best work late, she gave the indication that more ground wouldn’t hurt her and the step up to the 1400m here looks ideal. Nash Rawiller has his second ride on the mare today and should have every hance after drawing gate four for the event. At her peak after four starts now, she looks great value and should give us a good run for our cash.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7:  No.5  BOSTON CITY  ($8.50 with Ladbrokes)

The Rosehill-based BOSTON CITY resumes off an 18-week spell today and looks well placed here for a big first-up performance. Last start, the Brazen Beau gelding ended his last campaign finishing unplaced in a Class 2 Hcp over 1050m on the synthetic track at the Gold Coast back in April. He trialled recently and with Josh Parr aboard, made light work of the hit-out, winning the 900m trial by more than three lengths. After one previous ride ended in victory, Parr sticks with him today and with a trouble-free run here, he looks a genuine winning chance at odds.,
