Race 4: No.3 TOM KITTEN ($2.70 with BoomBet)
The James Cummings-trained TOM KITTEN is in top-shelf form this time in and looks a genuine chance for victory here. Last start the Irish-sired colt was third-up and secured his third-straight podium finish when he took home third prize in the Listed Dulcify Stakes, here over the mile. In the run home, he took too long to find his stride but his last 100m was impressive, hitting the line strongly, beaten just a length in the end. The extra trip looks ideal here as Nash Rawiller sticks with him for this assignment. Already a Group 3 winner he draws ideally in gate three where he maps to settle better than mid-field with cover. At his peak for this, he should prove hard to beat.

Race 9: No.2 MR BRIGHTSIDE ($2.35 with BoomBet)
Unbeaten after three starts this preparation, the Team Hayes galloper, MR BRIGHTSIDE again looks the one to beat in the big Group One event. Last start, the Bullbars gelding proved too good for main rival (Alligator Blood) in the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes over the mile at Flemington. Sent out a white-hot $1.85 favourite, he gave his supporters no cause for alarm as he put 1.5 lengths on them over the line. Craig Williams retains the ride on the dual Doncaster Hcp winner and with a trouble-free run here, he looks mighty hard to beat in this contest.

Race 6: No.11 AIRMAN ($8 with Ladbrokes)
Team Hawkes saddle-up AIRMAN here and with Hugh Bowman booked for the ride, he lines-up here a real winning chance at odds. Last start, the I Am Invincible gelding turned for home, mid-field and wide, but still gave them a galloping lesson, winning a BM94 by two lengths, here over 1200m, running 1:09.1 for the trip. That made it five wins from seven starts as he just keeps getting better. Bowman is locked in for his first ride on the four-year-old who is high-flying and looks in the mix in this contest.
