BEST BET 🏆

Race 3:  No.5  PACHINO  ($4.65 with BoomBet)

Victorian visitor PACHINO is in great touch of late and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick. Last start, the Lucas Cranach gelding made it two-straight at Sandown when he out-stayed them in a BM64 Hcp over 2400m on the Hillside track. Travelling wide most of the way, he still proved too strong for them in the run home. James McDonald has the reins here and at his peak at the moment, he looks a solid winning chance again in this contest.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 10:  No.7  TIME TO BOOGIE  ($3.50 with Bet Right)

Trained at the track by Michael Freedman, TIME TO BOOGIE is in top-shelf form this time in and looks set to stay that way in this contest. Last start, the Sooboog gelding made it four-straight top-two finishes when he came off a big win here in BM72 company and beat all but one to the line in a BM78 Hcp over 1200m at Rosehill. Rachel King was aboard for both rides and sticks with him here. Meeting similar company here, he is already a track and distance winner and with a trouble-free run, he can get the job done.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 5:  No.7  DRAGONSTONE  ($9.50 with Unibet)

The Joe Pride-trained DRAGONSTONE has found the podium in his past four starts this time in and looks well placed here to break through for career-win number five. Last start, the Mikki Isle gelding beat all but one home in the Group 2 Missile Stakes at Rosehill. He came from mid-field that day and was trapped three and four deep most of the way. Tom Sherry sticks with him here as he gets all the favours from gate one where he maps to settle mid-field again, only this time with cover. At his peak after five runs back, a clear run to the line should see him challenge for the major prize.
