BEST BET 🏆

Race 6:  No.6  I AM ME  ($2.95 with BoomBet)

The Maher & Eustace-trained I AM ME has won five of her past six starts and looks well placed here to another picket to her resume in this contest. Last start, the I Am Invincible mare was fresh off a six-month break and after winning two trials, came out and won the Group 2 Missile Stakes, here over the 1200m trip. She is trying to frank that effort here with Adam Hyeronimus replacing the injured Tim Clark for this assignment. Unbeaten at the track, winning three from three, and already a two-time winner when second-up, her resume glows and she looks the testing material here.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 4 :  No.8  IVAN’S HERO  ($5.75 with Bet Right)

The Chris Waller-trained IVAN’S HERO has finished top-two in four of his five starts this time in and looks well placed here to keep that trend going. Last start, the Holler gelding came off a good win here (in BM72 company) when he stepped up in grade at Randwick and did well to beat all but Principessa home over the mile in a BM78 Hcp. James McDonald was aboard for both of those efforts but out through injury, Jason Collett has the job for this assignment. The outside gate (11) is his main concern here but if he can cross and find a sit near mid-field, he can still give this a real shake.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 5:  No.10  CABACA  ($26 with Unibet)

Chris Waller saddles-up CABACA here who is in great touch after three starts back and looks a solid each-way chance in this contest. Last start, the Fastnet Rock mare was shooting for the hat-trick when she stepped-up sharply in grade and wasn’t disgraced in finishing fourth behind Howgoodareyou in a BM78, here over 1500m. She meets the So You Think mare 3kgs better here as they both face the 1800m journey for the first time. Kerrin McEvoy remains aboard as he seeks his third win from four rides on the four-year-old and looks well worth an each-way ticket in this event.
