Race 7 No. 2 LIGHTNING FLASH- ($3) 

LIGHTNING FLASH is a major player in Race 7 at Sale. The Matt Laurie-trained galloper was a dominant winner in this grade three starts ago then ran 5th in a BenchMark 70 at Sandown before dropping back to a BM64 at Cranbourne last time and finishing runner-up behind Lady Adelaide. That has proved to be a strong form race with three winners coming out of it. The daughter of Coronado draws ideally in barrier 5 and will be ridden by Billy Egan, who strikes at 29% for the stable, providing a 41% profit on turnover.

Race 5 No. 5 SNEAKY SUNRISE- ($4.80) 

MARBILLA can go on with the job after taking out her debut on April 29. The Jason Warren-trained galloper stepped out at Mornington over the 1000m that day and led all the way to defeat Suppose I Do. The 3rd placegetter out of that has since gone on to win. The daughter of the recently deceased champion, Lonhro, comes in with the best last start benchmark figures of any runner and should have improvement to come at her second start.

Race 8 No.6 KIMBERLEY PEARL- ($4.60) 

KIMBERLEY PEARL can end the day a winner. The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper comes into this third up and was solid at her most recent start when runner-up behind Arizona Activist at the track and trip. She settled midfield in that race and closed off strongly.
