BEST BET 🏆

Race 6:  No.3  INVINCIBLE RED  ($3.50 with Bet Right)

Craig Martin saddles-up INVINCIBLE RED here who has improved greatly from just two race starts and this contest looks ideal for him to record his first victory today. Last start, the Divine Prophet gelding came off a well beaten third when on debut at Quirindi and on his home track (Tamworth), gave them a galloping lesson when he took out the 1400m Maiden by a length on the line. Aaron Bullock was the pilot that day and has control again here. He gets the gun-run from gate one today and even fitter for two runs in, he should prove hard to keep out again.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 7:  No.14  CIREBON  ($7 with Picklebet)

Wyong galloper, CIREBON is second-up today and having her second start for Sara Ryan and back on top of the ground today, she looks a genuine threat to this line up. Formerly with the Kris Lees stable, the Real Impact mare came off a 17-week spell (and stable change) when she finished mid-field in a BM68 over 1200m at Newcastle. She settled mid-field and never gave up chasing, beaten 3.5 lengths on the line with the track rated a Soft 7 that day. Both career wins to date came on dry tracks so the Good 4 forecast today should be ideal. Reece Jones is aboard for the first time and from gate seven, she maps to settle mid-field again, with cover. Placed second-up previously, a trouble-free run here should see her putting in the big ones when it counts most.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 4:  No.10  HIDDEN MOGUL  ($12.20 with BoomBet)

The Annabel Neasham-trained HIDDEN MOGUL has her second race start today and coming off a provincial class contest, looks a real threat here. Last start, the Written Tycoon filly made an impressive debut when she beat all but one home in a 900m Maiden at Newcastle. She sat three-deep most of the way and ran home strongly to claim the silver medal. Heavelon Van Der Hoven was aboard that day and sticks with her for this assignment. Fitter for that run and a clear passage to the line today should see her stake a claim for victory here and is well worth an each-way ticket.
