Race 8 No. 8 NOKHBAH – ($2.60) 

NOKHBAH can end the day as a winner. The Team Hayes-trained galloper draws wide but has the early speed to cross and comes into this third up. She tackled the 1000m at Moonee Valley at her most recent start, settling handy before just missing behind Epic Centre in a BenchMark 70, going two lengths faster than standard. At her third run last time, the five-year-old improved six lengths on benchmark figures when going from a Pakenham Synthetic Maiden win to a runner-up at Sandown in a BM64.

Race 6 No. 3 MARK OF THE MAN- ($10.20) 

MARK OF THE MAN shapes as a value pick in Race 6. The Aaron Purcell-trained galloper comes into this third up and needed the run when resuming at Bendigo when resuming over the 1300m before running on at a big price when a three-length 6th at Sandown last time, again over the 1300m. The six-year-old gets out to a suitable trip and comes in with the second best last start benchmark figures of any runner. He draws to save ground from the inside barrier and will be ridden by Linda Meech.
