BEST BET 🏆

Race 3:  No. 2  MISS DIVINE EM  ($3.10  Unibet)

The locally-trained MISS DIVINE EM is in good touch this time in and looks well placed here to record her first home-track win today. Last start, the Super One mare stepped up in grade and did well to finish third in a BM80 Hcp, here over 1200m when making her debut for a new stable. The former Victorian galloper ran that trip out, 2.9 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best here by more than 3 lengths. That was her first time in heavy going as she made her track debut. Now familiar with her new surroundings, she has Tegan Harrison sticking with her today. All four career wins have come on soft tracks and with a Soft 6 is forecast today, conditions look ideal for her second home-track start. She will take beating here.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 6:  No. 4  BEAN DANCING  ($4.40  Neds)

Toowoomba galloper BEAN DANCING is in great touch this preparation and looks at home in the conditions here today. Last start, the Spill The Beans gelding tried his luck against city class company when he wasn’t disgraced, finishing sixth in a BM65 Hcp over 1200m at Doomben, beaten less than three lengths. His one visit this track ended in a big win when he ended his last campaign and put four lengths on a BM58 field. Isabella Rabjones has ridden him to three of his four career wins to date and returns here for today’s assignment. Nicely drawn in gate five, he should prove to be a real handful for them here.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7:  No. 11  JEEHAAN  ($ 4  BlueBet)

The Robert Heathcote-trained JEEHAAN come in nicely at the weights here and third-up today looks right in the mix. Last start, the Exosphere mare came from back in the field to claim third prize in a Class 1 Hcp over 1350m at Doomben. She ran a new personal best that day, covering the trip, 1.3 lengths slower than benchmark, also the best in this line-up. Tegan Harrison has the reins for the first time today as she returns to provincial class and fitter for two runs back, she looks a real threat in this contest.
