Race 6: No.3 PERFECT ENCOUNTER ($5.60 with BoomBet)
The Lindsay Hatch-trained PERFECT ENCOUNTER is third-up today and brings winning form into this contest. Last start, the Better Than Ready mare was second-up after 10 months in the paddock where she finished better than the rest to take out a BM62 Hcp over 1300m on her home track at Toowoomba. She lines-up here for her second start on the Corbould Park track, having finished runner-up here last time and today and welcomes back Angela Jones who has steered her to four podium finishes from her six previous rides. Drawn well in gate five, and already a winner when third-up, she looks right in the mix today.

Race 4: No.3 EN POINTE ($3.80 with Ladbrokes)
The Robert Heathcote-trained EN POINTE found her mojo here last start and looks well placed for back-to-back victories today. Last start, the Better Than Ready filly was fourth-up and really hit the ground running, leading all the way in a BM68 Hcp on a Heavy 8 that day. She has since won a trial (on the Doomben track) and has Damien Thornton sticking with her for this assignment. Nicely drawn in gate five, she maps to settle on-speed and rock-hard fit with four starts behind her this preparation, she should prove hard to beat today.

Race 7: No.2 ALLORA ENZO ($6.50 with Unibet)
The Team Sears-trained ALLORA ENZO is third-up today and with a resume covered in consistency, he looks a genuine winning chance at odds. Last start, the Proisir gelding came off an unplaced maiden run at Doomben when he headed back to the country and proved too good in a 1400m Maiden at Gatton. With Angela Jones having her first ride on the five-year-old, he drew wide (gate 10 of 12) and giving them weight as well, it mattered not as he finished best, putting two lengths on them over the line. Placed when third-up previously, a trouble-free run here should see him right in the firing line for his seventh top-three finish today.
