BEST BET 🏆

Race 2:  No.3  LUCKY EXCHANGE  ($2.60 with Ladbrokes)

The Kelly Schweida-trained LUCKY EXCHANGE is now four starts into this preparation and down in grade today, looks the one to beat. Last start, the Divine Prophet gelding impressed when finishing third in a NMW Hcp over 1800m at Eagle Farm. With James Orman aboard, he settled near the back-end of the field and ran home well to grab the podium finish, beaten just a length on the line. At his peak today, he should find this assignment a little easier and has Orman sticking with him. A trouble-free run here should see him there at the finish.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 5:  No.8  WARRIORLESS  ($4.20 with Picklebet)

Tony Gollan saddles-up WARRIORLESS here who is third-up and boasting track and distance domination, should prove hard to beat today. Last start, the I Am Invincible mare was second-up when she beat all but one home in a Class 3 Hcp over 1000m at Eagle Farm. With Ben Thompson aboard, she settled mid-field and finished off strongly, beaten less than a length on the line. Fitter for those two runs back, she returns to Corbould Park when she won her last two visits over this distance and in search of his first win on the mare, Thompson sticks with her for this assignment. There’s plenty to be enthused about with the five-year-old who should take beating here.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 6:  No.11  CRAZY BRAVE  ($8 with bet365)

Annabel Neasham saddles-up CRAZY BRAVE here who is fresh off a 15-week spell and looks a major player in this contest. Last start, the Zoustar gelding ended his last campaign finishing third in a Class 1 over 1350m at Doomben. That made it four-straight top-three finishes from as many starts. Orman sticks with him as he jumps from gate four and maps to settle just behind the speed. The four-year-old won first-up last preparation and with a trial under his belt since then, he looks in the mix here at odds today.
