The locally-trained YOU’LL BE MIST is in career-best form and on her home track today looks the benchmark for this contest. Last start, the Headwater mare made it three-straight when she finished too good for them in a BM68 over 1010m at Ipswich. Sent out a $2.60 favourite that day, she ran her last 600m, 2.4 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this line-up and posted the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for the race as well. She is flying at the moment and gets the gun-run from gate one today. Despite the rise in class, with a trouble-free run here, she should take a ton of beating in this contest.

Annabel Neasham brings HYDE to Corbould Park for the first time where the three-year-old is in line for back-to-back victories today. Last start, the Snitzel gelding impressed by breaking through for his maiden win at the Gold Coast when second-up. He came from a long way back to grab victory on the line, covering his last 600m, 2.5 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field by more than 2 lengths. He also posted the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for the race. Nicely drawn in gate five, he looks up to this test today and is expected to give a bold sight.
