SIG POSITANO can end the day a winner. The Patrick Payne-trained galloper comes into this third up and was ok when resuming at Sandown on May 6 before getting back at that venue on May 27 and running 3rd behind Cardigan Queen. She settled worse than midfield before producing the fastest last 200m, going 6.4 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which are the best last start figures of any runner. A three time winner at the distance and a winner of two of five third up, she can get the job done from barrier 4

Race 4 No 6 CAPULET- ($2)
The two-year-olds feature in the $125,000 Elvstroem Classic and CAPULET can get the job done after a few near misses. The Tony & Calvin McEvoy-trained galloper caught the eye at the Warrnambool carnival when runner-up behind Rose Of Shalaa before missing out at Pakenham last time behind Carina Queen. Those two put a gap on the rest. The daughter of Extreme Choice looks ready now at her third run in.

Race 5 No. 4 BRAWL- ($5.30)
BRAWL can go close in Race 5 over the 2400m. The Paul Preusker-trained galloper was runner-up in the Stawell Cup three starts ago before not handling the Heavy going at Warrnambool. At his most recent start, the five-year-old stepped out at Casterton in the Cup over the 2000m and conceded a big start before working home well for 5th. He comes back to a BenchMark 64 and looks like he can stay all day.
