ALORS TU CROIS should appreciate Heavy conditions at Tatura and comes into this with some solid form, having stuck on well for 4th in tougher grade than this at Mornington at her last start. That came over the 2000m on May 31 and she led them up before just tiring late behind Mystery Moment. The mare from the Henry Dwyer camp drops in grade and her career personal best came on Heavy going at Ballarat earlier in her career when going 0.3 lengths slower than standard, finishing runner-up in Maiden grade. She has the fitness for a solid run and has been well supported in the betting.

Race 9 No 1 DREAM BROTHER- ($5.50)

This looks to be a suitable assignment for DREAM BROTHER. The eight-year-old has been boxing on steadily on Synthetic tracks of late and comes in with a last start 5th under his belt behind Signal at Ballarat. The son of Helmet was tried over the 1400m without much success prior to that, while he was runner-up at Hamilton over the 1100m earlier this preparation. He should enjoy a nice time of it from barrier 6, while the prospect of a track with some give in the ground will suit
