Race 1 No. 2 GALLOPING GURU ($1.70)

GALLOPING GURU should be hard to beat in the opener at Terang. The Symon Wilde-trained galloper has had the two career starts and was excellent off a wide run on debut at Camperdown when 4th before heading to Hamilton and sticking on well for 5th behind Enzo, beaten just under three lengths. He should have finished closer in that race and ran out of clear galloping room late in the piece. Step up to the 1850m should suit and this does look to be a weak race.

Race 7 No. 10 ROCKABILLY REBEL ($3.40)

ROCKABILLY REBEL just needs to overcome the wide barrier to be a threat in Race 7. The three-year-old has had the one run since switching to the Patrick Payne stables with that coming at Sandown in a BenchMark 64 over the 1200m on February 7. She was posted wide without cover in that race but stuck on fairly for 6th, beaten three lengths by Robrick. The daughter of Street Boss comes into this at her third run and was a winner at this stage of her last preparation before performing well at Rosehill.

Race 8 No.14 SEACRYPTION ($8)

SEACRYPTION can bounce back in Race 8. The Mitchell Freedman-trained galloper was a Maiden winner at Hamilton when resuming over the 1200m before heading to Geelong and finishing 7th over the 1330m. She was posted three and four wide that day before just fading late in the piece. Drop back to the 1200m looks to be the go and she should be able to find a spot in the run this time around from barrier 7.
