Local galloper PARTICIPATOR has become a real track specialist and will take a ton of beating here. Last start, the Contributer gelding was third-up when he beat all but one home in a BM80 Hcp, here over 1400m. That was his first defeat on his home track in four appearances. Danny Beasley has been with him in all three starts this time in and remains on board for today’s assignment. Rock-hard fit and down in grade here, he is our best of the day.

Race 7:  No.10  ANOTHER ONE  ($12 with Ladbrokes)

Speaking of track specialists, the locally-trained ANOTHER ONE boasts one of the strongest home-track records going around and third-up today looks exceptional value in this contest. Last start, the Super One gelding came off a first-up win in the Listed Canberra National Sprint over 1400m when he didn’t take too kindly to the Bendigo track, finishing unplaced in the Listed Golden Mile that day. He had excuses after drawing wide and sitting three-deep no cover for most of the journey. He draws much better here (jumping from gate three after early scratchings) and back on soil (where his record reads: 8 starts for 5 wins and 3 minor placings), he looks overs in this company.

Race 3:  No.12  MISS ADRENALIN  ($13 with bet365)

Kembla Grange visitor MISS ADRENALIN has returned to the track in first-class form and her first look at the Wagga track today could see her secure a hat-trick of wins. Last start, the Testa Rossa mare made it back-to-back wins when second-up, she finished best to grab victory in a Class 1 Hcp over 1400m at Canberra. Louise Day had her first ride on the mare in that event and is sticking with her here. While carrying 4kgs more today, this contest looks no harder and well drawn in gate six, she can only strip fitter here and could give this a real shake at odds.
